The largest all women's saltwater fishing tournament in the United States was held in Rockport, Tx,, May 19, 2012.  The tournament had a record 1301 women competing on 367 boats.  The ladies are allowed to weigh in three trout, and one redfish.  The "Curlew Chicks" won first place in the Non-guided/Artificial Division with a total weight of 12.54 lbs.   Pictured left to right are:  Kara Kelley, Leslie Clancey, Tim Clancey, and Kristi Kelley. 

The Guided/Artificial Division was won by NewWater Guide Tim Redden and his team "Redden's A'Luring Ladies" with a total weight of 14.30 lbs.   Pictured left to right are:  Carol Bryant,  Melissa Dowell, Capt. Tim Redden, Tammy Redden, and Nancy Wehrung.
